More Security for our DNB Online Banking Customers:

On December 6th, 2006, Delta Bank will implement additional security measures known as Multi Factor Authentication to the Bank's DNB Online Banking system.

These additional authentication steps are designed to reduce the risk of fraud, maintain customer confidence in DNB Online Banking security, and to meet the guidance mandates of the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC).

Delta Bank has always been concerned, and will continue to be concerned, with the security of the information and funds that we are entrusted with by our customers.

During the initial setup of this new feature you will be:

1)      Assigned an image,

2)      Asked to enter a personalized phrase,

3)      Asked to choose and answer three questions.

It is very important that you remember all of these items, since these will be used to grant online access to your accounts.  Once you have completed this initial setup, you will be able to change the assigned image to one of your choice out of a selection of 50,000 images.

During the subsequent logins, after entering your Access ID, your image and pass phrase will be displayed.  By seeing the correct ones, you will know that you are on Delta Bank’s valid online banking web site.  If you do not see your correct selections, please close the browser window and notify the Bank immediately.

Other steps you can take to help protect yourself include:

1)      Change your password periodically,

2)      Don’t write down your password,

3)      Don’t share your password or access ID,

4)      Review your statements for unauthorized transactions.
